Dang I forgot about this! I did it to my 2nd computer and it worked perfectly. Forgot to do it with my newer box and was wondering why I was lagging hard and crashing all this time :\

Thanks for reminding me. I must be losing it Sad

Also, after one of the recent updates I started getting the missing textures again. I checked my ini file and the HardwareTnL setting was gone. Might be a good idea to check it after patches and put it back in if you have to.

The missing textures usually happen to me when I try to log on a second character after the first has been on a while or after one zones. ALT+ENTER is your friend in this situation. The trick I've found is that if character 2 is having huge framerate lag or missing textures, if you ALT+ENTER on character 1 your missing textures on character 2 will reappear. Typically ALT+ENTER tends to fix the lag on the other window for me. However, one downside is that it sometimes causes client crashes...

Yes, that looks like it alright. I haven't been to PoTime, but let's say, for example, in PoTranquility, you would see something like that, but you would still be able to see certain things normally. Like the buildings, and the cave entrance that leads to PoStorms, and the PoJ scales. But the ground would be completely gone, just like how you see in that screen shot.

OK, if you are missing textures for EQ(I know i was, PoK was ALL fucked up) just log off EQ and go into your EQ directory. Then use the search fuction and search for ".txc". Now, delete them all. this will get rid of the problem Very Happy

Noob question....are you using two installations? Sorry I have to ask, because I fixed the gamma part already and now I have missing graphics. I'm using two installations of eq. but I coppied my main's directory, and cant understand why missing graphics.
